Audio Book The Fortune Hunter with Free MOBI EDITION!

Previous to this book by Suzy Spencer, I had read She Wanted It All by Kathryn Casey which told the same story, with the exception that in Spencer's telling, we already know she's been convicted and the story is told from the viewpoint of incidents and details about Celeste that wasn't in Casey's book. I thought both books were very well written and I liked Spencer's story for details not commonly known about the individual's involved.The only drawback I could find in The Fortune Hunter for example, was that it was a bit disjointed in the telling; halfway through the testimony of Amy Cozart, I'm wondering "who is Amy Cozart?" which I'm sure was mentioned somewhere prior but there were so many individuals introduced at different times in the telling and it jumped back and forth from the present day to the testimony, I became a bit confused. Another example:"But the girls didn't understand why Amy had to leave" ... well, I didn't either because I couldn't recall her prior to her testimony. I'm using that one person as an example but there were several that I had to rack my brain over; had I read the book from start to finish without any breaks, I'm sure I would have recalled who she was but this is the kind of book you have to read without breaks, otherwise you lose the direction the story is going; at least "I" did.Also, in mentioning Celeste's parents, one of their children drowned (wandered away from a stroller while a parent was inside the story with another child) then the parents adopted; that confused me because I wasn't sure about those children, the two mentioned and the adopted children later; what? Johnny & Nancy Johnson's children, which was which? how many did they have, lose, adopt? Maybe it was me and I was on an off day or two while reading.Still, I gave it four stars because I learned a lot more about Celeste, her husbands, Jen & Kris (her twins) Steve Beard, Tracey Tarlton and the biological children of Steven & Elise Beard.What Celeste did and continues to deny, is beyond comprehension, and how she could do the things she did with no remorse is difficult to comprehend. Is she insane? No, she's cunning, manipulative and without conscience. Good read, Celeste is a true psychopath. A sociopath may at least feel some remorse over someone they share a bond with, a psychopath doesn't care who is victims are and Celeste certainly didn't care about her daughters or friends. She hurt everyone, period.
