Sorry, I gave it a real shot but the feminist message (one that I fully support and promote, being a woman and all) was so distracting.I love a strong message mixed into a romance, however, when it's mentioned 5 times on every single page it becomes distracting.The author waited too long to reunite the characters for me, and I was already annoyed by the time they were.Also, being from San Diego and having a brother in law who surfs...the stereotypes regarding surfers was kind of ridiculous. I don't know anyone who really talks like this....I was waiting for the tubular, etc.This one is a miss for me.
